For today’s unfortunate weekend project meeting, ZK and I decided that instead of boring lame ol’ school, we’d head down to town. We got down at Novena, thinking we’d be able to avoid the damn weekend crowd there; and hell no, we didn’t get that. 

I can’t believe how crowded Singapore’s gotten. It’s prolly because I rarely go to town on weekends, but still?!! I kept muttering “Woah, all the 阿狗阿猫come out siol”.

With this, I don’t see how it’s a bad thing that Singaporeans are not replacing themselves. Or how the government has not closed doors to foreigners. The country’s totally overpopulated and crammed, old wise men!!

Even the dead zone United Square was packed with 阿狗s and 阿猫s. To think I was rejoicing at the thought of a peaceful and quiet afternoon at Starbucks, dang it.

We ended up in Subway with a power plug with no power and 2 dying laptops. Coincidentally, our seats were facing Twelve Cupcakes opened by (ex?) DJ couple Daniel Ong and Jaime Teo. Business is really good, considering it costs $3 a cupcake, whoosh. And Jaime’s in really good shape, despite being a mother of one. I could see that she was glowing with beauty even without my glasses. Envy!!

Despite the trouble (and all my angsty complaints) we went through to find a place to settle, today’s been pretty good. Also, ZK’s always good company. Yeah, I see you smirking, woman.
